Historic Floor Testing
Hampton Court Palace required a non-destructive testing methodology for a historic timber floor within part of the palace designed by Sir Christopher Wren. The objective was to assess the structural condition of the floor while preserving the integrity of this nationally significant heritage asset.
Mast Removal Safety Case
As part of HMS Victory's 10-year "Big Repair" programme, the National Museum of the Royal Navy required specialist engineering and safety support for the removal of the ship's masts and bowsprit. The operation formed a critical stage in the conservation of one of the world's most significant maritime heritage assets.
Maritime Asset Testing
Attis completed the testing of some 2,300 mooring assets on HM Naval Base Portsmouth over a period of 15 months. The inspection, testing, and recording was carried out on a live naval facility thereby requiring no disruption to operational activity across the waterfront.
Port Traffic Management Planning
Portsmouth International Port sought to review its existing traffic management arrangements as part of its long-term development strategy. This included assessing how operational space could be optimized to accommodate future growth including current traffic flows, freight movements, and parking provision within the operational port environment.
Berthing Capacity Analysis
Portsmouth International Port wanted to evaluate the capacity of critical mooring infrastructure to determine the maximum size of vessel that could be safely accommodated. The client required operational certainty while still supporting safe and efficient port operations.

What is Lloyd's Register validation?
It means our testing services meet the standards set by Lloyd's Register, one of the world's most recognised classification and assurance bodies. It gives clients confidence that our methodologies and results are independently verified to the highest standard.
Can you help us with CDM?
Yes we can act as Principal Designer, or just provide the necessary advice for you to undertake any of the key stakeholder roles. I have several projects running consecutively, can you help? Yes, we can provide CDM support at either project or programme level. Are you security cleared? Yes, we are all security cleared to work on MoD and government sites. Can you work with defense procurement? Yes, we are registered with JOSCAR and hold the appropriate credentials such as Cyber Essentials.
